"After leaving my working career in the City as a Merchant Banker, I took time out to re-train and completed a Diploma in Personal Training and Sports Therapy and then became a fully qualified Personal Trainer & Sports Therapist. I hold a First Aid/CPR certificate and am fully insured in all aspects of public liability. I am also a fully qualified cricket and hockey coach albeit now retired playing both sports due to a serious back injury. With continuous professional development a priority, I continue to attend advanced training courses, events, seminars and conferences to keep up with the latest developments in the health and fitness industry. After graduating I set up my own business, Genesis BodyCare in 1999. I have now notched up more than 20,000 hours of one-to-one personal fitness training sessions with many clients of varying ages, from 8 to 84 and various fitness levels. This adds up to lots of major achievements and much hard work, by many clients over the last 18 years. ‘If your mind can believe, the body can achieve’. My personal training philosophy goes beyond simply going through the motions and counting reps. It is about making a decision to change your life and taking the necessary steps to make it happen. I take a whole body approach so that my clients will see and feel the personal training benefits. With motivation, dedication and education you can do it and I can help! Changing your life is a journey and I will be there to support you all the way!!!"
