Working together

One of the greatest benefits to young athletes is the opportunity to sometimes train together and share experiences and, of course, to keep any costs down.

All athletes on the programme will be provided with Free use of the gym facilities.

We recognise that appropriate access to facilities & expertise isn't always readily available to young people so our offer starts from age 14 upwards to help them chase their dreams with free access to a top-quality gym, Strength & Conditioning expertise and experience, Physiotherapy and Sport massage.

We offer an individual tailored training program.

Additionally, we offer a resource pack - documents to help with other areas that would support your training such as nutrition and recovery.

In summary, from the athlete perspective, you are receiving a program tailored & supervised by a professional S&C coaches at low cost and with free gym access to complete any unsupervised sessions. Plus, our resource pack to help them help themselves in other areas of athlete lifestyle outside of strictly training for their sport with a coach.

Athlete quotes

"I’ve been coming to Halton gym since I was 14 and I just love it. Dom King is a fantastic strength and conditioning coach who helped me settle into the gym and really helped me get the most out of my sessions. The facilities are super and the welcome from staff and other members has always been warm. The environment generally is conducive to a real motivational workout. Try it out or simply join here, you won’t regret it!”

"I'm an amateur downhill mountain biker, racing at national level and aspiring to compete on the World Cup scene. I've been training with Dom for almost 3 years - his excellent subject knowledge combined with encouragement and investment in my performance has given me the confidence and motivation I needed to improve. The gym has a friendly atmosphere with great equipment that is regularly upgraded. Halton has been the perfect space for learning without any pressure or judgement and I would highly recommend it to both seasoned athletes and complete beginners. Thanks to the team and facilities here, I've worked through numerous injuries including recovery from a shoulder surgery last summer and I am strong and ready to take on the season ahead!”
